About
Born in 1998, Carlo Heller was introduced to piano playing early on.
Years of classical piano training with Georgian teachers, explorations of jazz and
improvisation as well as rigorous composition studies shaped Carlo’s musical
approach. His work focuses on the piano, electronic music, and sonics.
He also composes scores for feature films, cultural institutions as well as independent movie performances, collaborating with other artists, too.
After studying musicology at Humboldt University, Berlin, he joined the class of
Prof. Carsten Nicolai at the Academy of Fine Arts, Dresden — where he is currently
studying. Carlo lives and works in Berlin.
